Welcome to the S.O.B. Blog

Happy New Year Beer Lovers!
At Southern Oregon Brewing Company, we are obsessed with producing the best hand crafted beers possible. Part of that process is interacting with the people who drink our beers.....that would be you! We have created this blog to help us communicate with our customers so that we can continue to deliver the highest quality ales and lagers for you. We encourage you to post your comments and suggestions on this blog. We love to hear positive comments but also respect constructive criticism. We do ask that you keep it clean and friendly.

I will read and moderate this blog myself because I believe it is important for the owner of a business to remain intimately connected to the customer. I will try and respond to your comments in a timely manner. Thank you for participating and helping us become a great brewery.

Great job on the website! Will you guys be participating in the state-wide brewery open house day on Feb 14? Here's a link about it: http://blog.oregonlive.com/thebeerhere/2009/01/_zwickelmania_hits_oregon_brew.html

Went to Applebys in GP the other night. I wanted to go to the Laughing clam so I could get your porter but the hubby wanted to go to Applebys. When I asked the waitress if she had SOB and said yes I was elated. I was only aware of the 3 places in GP from your website. Are there any other places that sell SOB in GP?

Grants Pass location include The Brewery, G Street Supper Club, JDs Sports Pub, Applebees and the Laughing Clam. We hope to add more locations soon. Keep checking our website for updates on locations. Thanks for the support. We really appreciate it. BTW, you can get our beers in bottles at the GP Albertsons.

Just enjoyed a sample of your porter at the Talent Art walk. Great beer - I'll look forward to asking for it next time.

Thanks Joseph. Glad you enjoyed it. We appreciate your help. We would love to have a better presence in Talent....Avalon, Grotto, Talent Club. Come by the brewery and try all our beers or just say hello.

Picked up your porter at Harry and David. Great beer. No added fluff. Staff at H&D didn't know your location. Will stop by another time. Steve from Crescent City, CA

We had some great organic Cascade Hops this year. Caldera and Standing Stone used some for fresh hop brews. Should have LOTS in 2010. Is the Barley Wine out yet? Happy Holidays! Steve and Spencer Alpha Beta Hops
